When Nick was ten, he dreamed of finding a genie, who could grant him anything he wished for. He knew what he wanted.

His first wish was for his family to have enough food to feed all of them. His second wish was to grow up to be big and tall, not scrawny like he was. His third wish was to be famous and have no one forget about him ever again.

By the time Nick was twenty, and had people who gave him anything he wished, he already had all those things. He didn’t know what he wanted anymore.
